Vittal: 4 arrested for transporting cattle in inhuman way

Bantwal, Aug 17, 2023: Vittal police have arrested four persons for transporting cattle in a inhuman manner in a vehicle.

Those arrested are Hameed from Salethur, Ibrahim alias Monu, Moosa from Manjeshwar and Hameed alias Jalal from Bantwal. The four were arrested at Mulia in Alike village. The goods vehicle in which they were transporting cattle has been seized.

 

Police have registered cases against the four under relevant sections of the Prevention of Violence to Animals Act 1960 and Karnataka Anti-Slaughter of Animals Act 2020.
