Vijay Mallya visits Kollur Mookambika temple

Mangalore, April 30, 2012: Liqour baron Vijay Mallya said he would offer his help for the complete development of Kollur Mookambika temple.

He offered prayers at the Kollur Mookambika temple about 130 kms from here on April 29, Sunday. Recently, Mallya had visited Kukke Subrahmanya temple. He made payments for two poojas and also vowed to offer gold cladding for the gudi outside the sanctum sanctorum.

Mallya had given a gold cladding for the Dhwaja Stambha at Kollur ten years back. Temple priests said that they needed funding for a goshala at Kollur and Mallya said he would offer his help for the same. He also participated in chandika homa, suhasini pooja and mahapooja.

Temple priest Parameshwara Adiga, Narasimha Adiga, CEO Sanjeev Madivala, Ramakrishna Adiga were present.
