Venur: 26-year-old biker killed in collision with autorickshaw

Belthangady, Nov 4, 2026: A 26-year-old man was killed in a collision between an autorickshaw and a motorcycle at Panjalbailu in Moodukodi, near Venur, on the evening of November 3.

The deceased has been identified as Swastik, a resident of Peradi village, who was working as a branch manager at a jewellery showroom in Venur.

The accident occurred while he was returning home after completing his work for the day. Although he was immediately rushed to hospital, he reportedly succumbed to his injuries on the way.

Swastik is survived by his mother and two sisters.

A case has been registered at the Venur Police Station.
