Vehicle lifter arrested; 2 scooters seized

Mangaluru, Aug 24, 2023: A youth from Thokkottu Kapikad has been arrested by the police on the charges of vehicle theft.

The arrested man is Shaneez (23). Two scooters worth Rs 1.01 lakh have been seized from him. He has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.

 

The accused was apprehended during the course of investigation into the cases of theft of two two-wheelers from Kankanady and Bendorewell areas. The police intercepted Shaneez on suspicion on the Pumpwell flyover as he was riding a scooter without a number plate.
