In the past, AI had been operating three Bahrain to Mangalore flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, but cancelled the Sunday flights. Since most of the passengers boarding these flights are Muslims, they are unable to take the Friday flights and have to depend only on the Wednesday flights.

Salim K. C. Road, president of the organization, and Moosa Talapady, chief secretary, were also present.
