Valuable wood worth Rs 1.5 lakh seized at Panaje

Puttur, Nov 15, 2013 :  A police team from Panaje has seized a tempo which was unauthorizedly transporting valuable wood at Doomadadka in Irde village on November 14.

The Kiral bogi logs seized are estimated to cost Rs 1.5 lakh. One person named N Mohammad  Rafique of Olamogaru has been arrested.

The accused was however released on bail the same day. Investigations are underway.
