Vain bid to burgle jewellery store at Mudipu

Mangaluru, Aug 06, 2021: Thieves have made a vain bid to burgle a jewellery shop at Mudipu junction on August 5, Thursday night.

 

 

The burglary attempt took place in the Gold King Jewellery store  at Mudipu Junction. The thieves had drilled a hole in the wall of the jewellery store building to enter inside. However by then the siren had sounded forcing the thieves to take to their heels  with a silver jewellery worth Rs 10,000 on which they laid their hands in a hurry.

The alarm in the  jewellery store had even alerted the owner Ibrahim through his mobile phone.

Police have visited the spot and investigations are in progress.
