
Mangaluru, December 24, 2025: A protest was held on Tuesday in front of the Mini Vidhana Soudha in Mangaluru by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal, Mangaluru unit.
The protest was organised to condemn the alleged atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and to demand strict action against the cattle smuggling network, following an incident near Maravoor Kenjaru where cattle were allegedly robbed, slaughtered and their remains dumped.
Hundreds of activists gathered at the venue, raising slogans and expressing their anger. Addressing the protesters, Murali Krishna Hasanthadka, former regional Goraksha Pramukh, strongly condemned the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh and the cattle robbery and slaughter incident near Maravoor Kenjaru. He demanded that the cattle smuggling racket be completely dismantled.
District president H.K. Purushotham, divisional secretary Shivanand Mendan, provincial co-coordinator Bhujanga Kulal, and former regional Goraksha Pramukh Murali Krishna Hasanthadka were present on the dais.
