Urban local body polls : Counting begins

Mangalore, March 11, 2013 : Counting of votes  of the Mangalore City Corporation election began  amid unprecedented security arrangements at the Rosario High School here on March 11 at 8 am.

 

 

 

 

The room where the ballot boxes have been placed and locked securely were checked by the contestants, before the officials opened the room in the presence of the candidates.

The counting of votes have also begun in all other urban local bodies and results will be out by noon when a clear picture will emerge.
