Uppinangady: Unidentified man’s body found in Netravathi river

Uppinangady, Feb 20, 2026: An unidentified male body was found in the Netravathi river behind a mosque at 34 Nekkiladi here.

The body was spotted stuck among bushes and vegetation in the river.

It is suspected that the body might have floated downstream from another location before getting lodged there.
