Uppinangady: Several injured as private bus rams into container

Uppinangady, April 04, 2024: Over 20 passengers were injured after a private bus carrying a groom’s party collided with a container at Nelyadka near Udane on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru NH on April 3, Wednesday.

 

The bus  was on way to Dharmasthala from Piriyapattana. The mishap occurred when the bus driver tried to overtake another vehicle.

Luckily many suffered only minor injuries. They later received treatment at a private hospital in Nelyady.
