Uppinangady: Rs 10 lakh robbery case; accused arrested

Uppinangady, Mar 24, 2023: Uppinangady police have arrested the accused in the case of robbing a bag of Rs 10 lakhs from a person  at Ilantila.

The accused is Mustafa (41), a resident of the same village. A cash of Rs 9 lakh has been recovered from him.

 

It may be recalled that Mohammad K (60) who had arranged the cash to purchase jewellery for his daughter’s wedding, was placing the bag of cash under the seat of his two-wheeler when a man snatched it and had escaped.

Police said another person wanted in this case has escaped with Rs one lakh.
