Uppinangady: Goods worth lakhs destroyed in fire mishap at house

Uppinangady, April 29, 2024: Goods worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed in an accidental fire at a house at Mutta in Uppinangady.

 

The house belonged to Aslam who worked abroad. His wife and children were away when fire was noticed in the house. Locals who noticed smoke emanating from the house immediately informed the family members as well as the fire service personnel.

Most of the goods inside the house were destroyed by the time the fire was doused. An electrical short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
