Uppinangady: Gang attack on five youth in 2 separate incidents

Uppinangady, Dec 06, 2021: A group of miscreants targeted five men at Andetadka in Ilanthila village on Sunday evening in two separate incidents.

Fayaz (26) and Afeez (19), two local youth who were  sitting near a shop in the locality were attacked by a gang of four to five people with machetes at around 7 pm. They have been admitted to the Puttur Government Hospital. In another incident,  a group of 30 to 40 men who arrived by bikes attacked Siddique, Ayyub and Zakaria with machetes.

 

Locals suspect the hands of a gang led by Jayaram of Andetadka behind the two incidents. The motive behind the attacks is also not known.
