Uppinangady: Father arrested for raping, impregnating minor daughter

Uppinangady, Aug 18, 2023: Uppinangady police have arrested a man on the charges of raping and impregnating his minor daughter. The case was reported from Golithottu Gram Panchayat limits.

 

It is alleged that the incident took place a few months ago. The mother of the victim who noticed some changes in her daughter took her to hospital on August 16 when it came to light that she was pregnant. As per the complaint lodged by the victim, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. He is facing charges under POCSO Act.
