Uppinangady: 20-year-old woman reported missing

Uppinangady, Feb 5, 2026: A complaint has been filed with the police regarding the disappearance of a young woman from Majikudelu in Uruvalu village of Belthangady taluk, which comes under the Uppinangady police station limits.

The missing woman has been identified as Supritha (20), daughter of late Sheenappa. According to the complaint lodged by her mother, Supritha went to bed as usual on Monday night but was found missing in the early hours of Tuesday. She did not respond to mobile phone calls, and later her phone was found to be switched off.

Supritha has studied up to Class 10. She is about 4 feet 6 inches tall, has a medium build and a round face, and speaks Kannada and Tulu.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is requested to contact the Uppinangady Police Station, said Station House Officer Suthesh S. in a statement.
