Union Minister Oscar Fernandes visits Rosario Cathedral

Mangalore, Sep 29, 2013: Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Oscar Fernandes visited the Rosario Cathedral on September 28, Saturday.

Addressing the teachers at the Rosario Church Complex on the occasion, Oscar said teachers play a very important role in moulding the future of the students. Describing teaching as a noble profession, Oscar said if given an opportunity he would like to become a teacher.

Dr JB Crasta, Dean of the Episcopal City Deanery and Parish Priest of Rosario Cathedral earlier welcomed  the Union Minister. M P Noronha, advocate, J R Lobo, MLA of Mangalore South Constituency, Fr Alwyn Serrao, Principal of Rosario Educational Institutions, Fr Rocky Fernandes, Vice Principal, Fr Amith Rodrigues, Assistant Priest, Felix Albuquerque and heads of Rosario educational institutions were present.
