Unidentified man found dead in Netravathi river

Panemangaluru, May 6, 2025: A man was found dead in the Netravathi river beneath the railway over bridge here. The age of the deceased is estimated to be 40-45.

An AC technician from Mangaluru who was passing the old railway bridge at Kaikunje in B Mooda village who noticed the body, lodged a complaint with the police. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Bantwal town police have registered a case. The cause of the death is yet to be known.
