Unidentified group murders man out on bail

Mangalore, Mar 13, 2012: Putta alias Sanna Putta alias Chota Putta (24) of Boregudda was murdered by a group of unidentified people near the Kannur Checkpost on March 13 Tuesday. 

The victim is believed to have been murdered at 7:30 p.m. He was returning home when he was attacked and killed by the group. Rivalry is believed to be the motive of the crime.

Putta has been charged on several counts of attempt to murder, possession of drugs, and other cases. He was out of bail, but was being continuously threatened. 

The Kankanady Rural Police have registered a case and are currently investigating it.
