Ullal: Iron sheets worth Rs 2.5 lakhs stolen

Mangaluru, Aug 10, 2023: Centering iron sheets worth several lakhs of rupees have been stolen from near the  new Mandir of the Kolya Shri Sharadotsava Utsava Samithi during the wee hours of August 10, Thursday.

 

It has been learnt that the contractor Sunder Gatti of Thokkottu had brought these 119 sheets on rent for Rs 2.5 lakhs. A CCTV in the locality has revealed that the thieves had come by a pick-up vehicle to steal the sheets between 2 am and 3 am. The sheets were brought for the construction of the new Mandir building of the Sharada Utsav Samithi.
