Udupi all set for Vitlapindi celebrations

Udupi, Sept 7, 2023: After Janmashtami celebrations on September 6, Wednesday, Udupi is all set for Shree Krishna Leelotsava or Vitlapindi today. Thousands of devotees have flocked the temple town where Anna Santharpane has begun at 10 am on Thursday.

This year mass feeding is held at the dining hall and Anna Brahma while seating arrangements have been made in Rajanganga.

At 3 pm, there will be a procession at Carstreet in the golden chariot carrying the idol of Lord Krishna.  The Utsava Murthis of Anantheshwara and Chandramauleshwara Temple will be installed in the Navaratna chariot and a procession will be held.

Later Mosaru Kudike will be held with great fanfare. Paryaya Swamiji will be distributing Chakkuli, Laddu Prasada to the devotees on this occasion.
