Udupi: Udupi SP, 3 others chosen for DG, IGP Commendation Medal

Udupi, May 19, 2025: Four police personnel from Udupi district including SP Dr Arun K have been chosen for the prestigious DG and IGP Commendation Medal for the year 2024-24.

Other personnel chosen for the award include Violet Femina, sub-inspector of Malpe Coastal Secrutiy Police, Gurudas Head Constable of Kundapur Traffic Police Station and  Santosh, Head Constable of Armed Reserve Police Force.

This is the first time this Award has been instituted. The Award presentation ceremony is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on May 21.
