Udupi: Rising Dengue cases; 10-day holiday for school in Jadkal Mudur

Udupi, May 19, 2022: Dengue cases have been on the rise in Udupi district with as many as 136 cases registered of late.

 

In Jadkal Mudur village of Byndoor taluk where there has been a spurt in cases, holiday has been declared for the local school for ten days as a precautionary measure.

The decision to declare holiday from May 19 to 28 was taken after local MLA Sukumar Shetty held consultations with Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao.

Health workers are visiting houses to create awareness among the people on the preventive measures against Dengue.
