Udupi: Private bus driver killed in head-on collision between two bikes

Udupi, Feb 19, 2026: A private bus driver died on the spot in an accident involving two motorcycles that occurred late Wednesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep, who was working as a driver in a private city bus in Udupi.

The accident took place near Ambagilu Junction at Perampalli Cross Road, where two bikes collided head-on, leaving both riders seriously injured. Another biker involved in the incident sustained critical injuries and has been admitted to a hospital.

The injured were rushed to the hospital in a goods tempo. A video of the incident has gone viral.
