Udupi : PFI celebrates Foundation Day by holding Unity Rally

Udupi, Feb 18, 2014 : The Popular Front of India organised a Unity Rally at the Royal Garden Grounds at Kalsanka on February 17, Monday  as part of its Foundation Day.

Addressing the gathering, KM Sharief, National President of Popular Front of India said the only way to  find a solution to the greatest challenges before the nation  like fascism and poverty is to launch a people’s movement.”

“ The power is today restricted only to the upper class, while  the minorities, Dalits and backward classes who  constitute 80 per cent of the population are deprived of power. There is a need to fight for justice in this regard,” he said.

Continuing, he said fascism was more  dangerous than communalism.

E Aboobakker Saheb, former national president of  SDPI,  Mufti Mohammad, State President of All India Imam Council, Deviprasad Shetty, District President of JD(S),  Yahya Malpe, District Wakf Board President and others were present.
