Udupi: Man arrested for threatening railway cops

Udupi, Mar 27, 2023: Police have arrested a person for abusing and threatening railway police personnel who had rushed to the railway station following information that he was creating ruckus in the general coach of Lokamanya Tilak Express Train.

 

Constable Zeena Pinto along with another constable Srikanth had rushed to the spot when they found that the accused  Sameer Biwaje Shindu was caught hold of by passengers and the TTE. It is learnt the accused tore the memo given by the TTE and also abused the cops  following which he was taken into custody.

A case has been registered in Manipal police station.
