Udupi: MBA student dies in tragic road mishap

Udupi, June 7, 2025: An MBA student lost his life after his two-wheeler was hit by a car near Kinnimulki in Udupi on June 6, Friday.

The deceased is Sankeertan (28). He was also a talented singer and table artiste. Sankeertan was the son of Suresh Acharya of Kidiyoor, also a well-known bhajan singer.

Negligent driving by the car driver is said to be the cause of the mishap. The car had initially collided with a goods vehicle and had then climbed a divider and eventually rammed into the bike of Sankeertan.

Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
