Udupi: Kerala students create public nuisance near Hejamady toll gate, video goes viral

Udupi, Feb 4, 2026: Students from Kerala created a disturbance by indulging in unruly behaviour in the middle of the road near the Hejamady toll gate in Kapu taluk of Udupi district on Tuesday.

The students, who had come to Udupi on a trip from Kerala, arrived in two buses. They reportedly stopped the buses near the toll gate and began dancing and bursting firecrackers on the road, causing inconvenience to motorists.

A video of the incident, showing the students creating chaos at the toll gate, has since gone viral on social media, drawing criticism from the public over the reckless behaviour.
