Udupi: Grand welcome for Bigg Boss runner-up Rakshita Shetty; coastal beauty shines in roadshow

Udupi, Jan 22, 2026: Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 runner-up Rakshita Shetty received a rousing welcome from fans during her visit to her home district of Udupi. To mark her arrival, a massive roadshow was organised on January 21 at Hejamady in Kapu taluk.

Rakshita Shetty was taken in a procession in an open vehicle from Hejamady to Padubidri. Hundreds of fans who had gathered on both sides of the road greeted their favourite contestant with loud cheers, bursting firecrackers and showering flower petals. Throughout the procession, Rakshita waved to the crowd, expressing her happiness.

In keeping with coastal traditions, she was honoured with a shawl and garlands. She interacted warmly with her fans, and the event stood as a testimony to her deep bond with the people of the coastal region.

During the procession, Rakshita Shetty was seen holding a bangude (mackerel) fish and walking joyfully with her fans, a moment that caught everyone’s attention. Speaking on the occasion, she said, “Bangude and bhutayi fish dishes are my all-time favourites.”

From Hejamady to Padubidri, Rakshita Shetty was welcomed with music, dance and celebrations. Her visit once again highlighted her immense popularity and the overwhelming love she enjoys among fans in the coastal belt.
