Udupi: Furniture shop destroyed in fire mishap

Udupi, April 21, 2022: A furniture shop on the Udupi-Manipal road was gutted in a fire mishap on April 20, Wednesday night. Goods worth lakhs of rupees have been destroyed in the fire.

 

The furniture shop is located near Lakshminagar. A hotel adjacent to the shop is also damaged due to fire.

A short circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the fire. The loss has been estimated at over Rs 40 lakhs.
