Udupi: Entry restrictions to beaches, waterfalls extended till August end

Udupi, Aug 16, 2023: The entry restrictions for tourists and public to the tourist places like beaches and waterfalls in Udupi district, enforced by the district administration, has been extended till August end, informed Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr Vidya Kumari.

 

It may be recalled here that the district administration imposed the restrictions after a youth got washed away in the strong water currents at Arashinagundi falls near Kollur. The restrictions will now be in force till August end.
