Udupi DC’s maskless photo in private ceremony draws flak

Udupi, April 24, 2021:     A photograph of Udupi Deputy Commissioner  G Jagadeesha participating in the Mehendi function of the daughter of an ASP, without wearing  mask, has become a point of debate particularly when  strict Covid guidelines are in place.

 

It has been gathered that the DC attended the Mehendi ceremony at around 8.45 pm on Friday and had  given a pose for photo without wearing mask leading to lot of criticism.

Meanwhile,  there has been another allegation that hundreds  were served lunch  on Friday at the court  premises  by violating Covid guidelines. The Deputy Commissioner has  said  notice has been served against those who violated the rule in this   regard.
