Udupi: DC Muddu Mohan inspects sea erosion affected areas

Udup, June 16, 2014 : Deputy Commissioner of Udupi Dr Muddu Mohan visited the sea erosion affected areas in Kaup and Malpe on June 15, Sunday.

After inspecting the damage caused by erosion, the Deputy Commissioner said a detailed report would be submitted to the government. Yogeshwar, Assistant Commissioner, Kumar, Additional DC, TS Rathod, Officer of the Fisheries and Ports Department and others were present.

In the meantime, sources at the Control Room set up at the DC office said  the intensity of the sea erosion has reduced on Sunday due to less rainfall.
