Udupi: Congress men pray for Chief Ministership for Siddaramaiah !

 Udupi, April 9, 2013 : If the Congress leadership in the state has decided against projecting any leader as the CM candidate well ahead of the elections, a few party workers in Udupi have sprang a pleasant surprise by praying for opposition leader and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah with the hope that he would be the CM if the Congress won.

The party workers also prayed for the good health of the senior leader who underwent a surgery recently.


On April 8, Monday, party workers gathered at the Parkala Mahalingeshwara Temple here and offered special prayers and also coconuts to the Lord.


One the party men who was present said they were praying for Siddaramaiah’s victory from Varuna constituency and also want to see him as the next chief minister. Yet another party man exuded confidence that Siddaramaiah if made the CM would surely help in the development of the coastal districts.
