Udupi: Compound wall of neighbour collapses over house

Udupi, June 24, 2023: A compound wall collapsed over a house due to incessant rains at Pragathi Nagar in Alevoor  village on Friday evening. Luckily no one was injured in the mishap though the house suffered much damage.

 

The owner of the house Suma Ramesh Acharya however had a narrow escape as she had just gone outside to feed the cat when the mishap took place. The compound wall that collapsed belonged to a neighbour.

Local elected representatives visited the spot and directed officials to undertake relief measures.
