Udupi: Bike rider killed in collision with bus

Udupi, Oct 8, 2025: A tragic accident occurred near Ambagilu Junction, Udupi, on Tuesday night when a bus collided with a bike, resulting in the death of the bike rider.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi Poojari (44) from Subramanya town, Puttur.

The private bus, coming from Kundapur towards Udupi, reportedly hit the bike. The rider fell under the bus and sustained serious injuries. He died on the way to a private hospital in Udupi.

A case has been registered at the Udupi Traffic Police Station in connection with the incident.
