Udupi : 45 Covid-19 patients cured; discharged from hospital today

Udupi, May 30, 2020:  In a welcome relief for Udupi district  which has been  witnessing a spike in Covid-19 cases in the recent past, a total of 45 Coronavirus patients have been cured and discharged from the hospital on May 30, Saturday.

 

Informing this to reporters, Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh said all the cured patients  including 17 children were discharged from the TMA Pai Covid Hospital.

The Deputy Commissioner said as per the government’s new guideline   those infected who have completed treatment for over seven days and whose reports are negative, have been discharged. However, all of them have to be cautious at home and have to immediately inform authorities if they exhibit any symptom of the infection in the days to come, he said.
