Udupi: 14 year boy dies after bike hits roadside milestone

Udupi, May 13, 2025: A 14 year old boy died after the bike which he was pillion riding hit a milestone on the roadside after a dog came in the way of the vehicle near Thenka Ermal on Monday.

The deceased is Sheikh Abdul Saifan. Abdul along with his father Abdul Azeez was returning home after purchasing books in Padubidri. A dog came in the way of the bike all of a sudden making Azeez lose control over the vehicle. The impact of the crash against the roadside milestone was such that the bike was partially gutted.

Saifan was immediately rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved and he died late night on Monday.

Padubidri police have registered a case.
