Udupi : 1 killed in car-tanker collision near Kaup

Udupi, Mar 8, 2014 :  A car driver lost his life in an accident involving his car and a tanker near  Kaup Koppalangady on NH 66 on March 7, Friday afternoon.

 

 

It is learnt, the car which  was heading towards Mangalore  from Udupi collided head-on with a tanker   seriously injuring the driver. He died while being rushed to the hospital. The deceased has been identified as  Kusappa (52). The mishap took place when he was returning after dropping a passenger from the airport.

Kaup police have registered a case.
