Two youth drown in Gundia river while bathing

Puttur, April 20, 2021:     Two youngsters drowned in the Gundia river at Ichlampady in Noojibaltila while having a bath on April 19,  Monday evening.

 

The deceased are Mohammad Dakir (19), son of Ummar of Nelyadi and Mohammad Sinnan (21) from Uppinangady.  Sinnan was  the nephew of Ummar and worked in the poultry form owned by the former.  Mohammad Dakir was a college student.

The bodies of the two were retrieved with the help of expert divers.
