Two bike riders die in road mishap near K C Road

Mangaluru, Oct 16, 2021: Two youth who were on way  home after participating in Dasara celebrations in Mangaluru died in a tragic road mishap near KC Road on the National Highway 66 late night on October 15, Friday.

 

The deceased are Prajith (24) and Krishnaprasad (26). Both hail from Kumble in Kasargod district.  Sources said their motorbike skidded resulting in the mishap. Both of them sustained serious head injuries as they were not wearing helmets.

Meanwhile, some sources said the bike rider lost control over the vehicle and hit the railings of the KC Road bridge after a car brushed past the two-wheeler.

Locals even blamed a car driver who rushed to the help of the victims,  as being responsible for the accident. However police who enquired him, learnt he was not at fault.
