Two-Wheeler Rider Killed in Accident Near Farangipete

Mangaluru, June 22, 2025: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot in a collision with a lorry near Farangipete on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Ibrahim N., a resident of Kalenjabailu in Puthila village, Belthangady taluk.

The accident occurred when Ibrahim was traveling from Mangaluru towards Belthangady on his two-wheeler. A fish-laden lorry heading from Mangaluru to Bengaluru reportedly collided with his vehicle, resulting in the fatality.

Melkar Traffic Police visited the scene and registered a case.
