Two Projects of Sahyadri have been awarded with “Best Project of the year”

Mangaluru, Aug 15, 2022: Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) is an autonomous Science and Technology organization under Department of Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka. It has ventured Student Project Programme (SPP) in 1977-78 to provide financial and academic support for final year Student’s Projects. Being first of its kind in the nation, since from the venture it has been promoting the research, innovation and development thereby having an impact in improving the quality of technical education in India. 

 

 

 

 

 

For the Academic Year 2021-22 under KSCST 45th Series for Student Project Programme, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management has secured funds for 30 from which 13 were selected for final round after the mid-term evaluation. Out of 13 projects, 8 projects were in exhibition and 5 were selected for seminar.

 

Two projects out of this bagged the “Best Project of the Year” award

Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management is recognized by VTU, AICTE, UGC, DST, MHRD, MSME, and Govt. of Karnataka. The institute is accredited by  NAAC, NBA, and IEI to inculcate quality technical and management education for the holistic development of a student, catering to the needs of modern industries and promoting entrepreneur culture.

These activities make the institute secure 4 Golden Stars by Innovation Cell Ministry of Education (MoE) Government of India (the Year 2019, 2020, 2021), and Sahyadri is categorized as "BAND A" (Top 25) institution in the category of Private  Institutes in (ARIIA) 2020 and in the Band "EXCELLENT" (Top 100) under the category Institutes of Private Technical in (ARIIA) 2021.
