Transport firm manager murder case : Cops arrest Vicky Shetty aide

Mangalore, Jan 30, 2014 :   CCB police of Mangalore have arrested one Radhakrishna of Kumble in Kasargod  in connection with the murder of  Adishwara Transport Company Manager Prashanth alias Pachu in the city.

 

 

The accused is said to be an aide of underworld don Vicky Shetty.The arrest was made on January 29, Wednesday night.

 It is believed that  Vicky Shetty had got Prashanth murdered through his henchmen to avenge the killing of  Bejai Raja. Sources said the deceased Prashanth had assisted in the killing of Raja  by giving his vehicle to the assailants.

Prashanth was hacked to death near the Mangala  Bar at Valencia on April 7,2013. Sources say that the arrested Radhakrishna though was not directly involved in the murder of Prashanth, had abetted the murder.

Police have earlier  arrested Bhavani Shanker alias Manoj alias Bhavani, Bhavish alias Munna. Praveen KP and Naveen Shetty alias Pili Naveena in this case.
