Trailer mishap at Adyar ; lucky escape for driver

 Mangalore, Dec 13, 2012 : The driver of a trailer escaped the jaws of death by a hair’s breadth, as his vehicle was hit by another trailer from the rear  on the morning of December 13, Thursday. The accident took place near Sahyadri College, Adyar.

 

 

Reports said the driver of the trailer carrying huge pipes, applied sudden brakes in order to avert hitting a car which took a turn. However, by then,  another trailer from behind rammed against the first trailer  resulting in the huge pipes falling forward and destroying the driver’s compartment.

Jaswinder Singh, the driver of the first trailer was lucky enough to escape unhurt. Both the trailers which met with accident belonged to the same company and were proceeding towards the city from Madhya Pradesh..

A case has been registered by Mangalore rural police.
