Traffic to be affected on October 2 evening in light of Mangaluru Dasara procession

Mangaluru, Oct 1, 2025: Movement of traffic will be affected, in light of Mangaluru Dasara procession of Navadurga and Sharada Mata idols from Kudroli Gokarnateshwara temple between 4 p.m. of October 2 to 6 a.m. on October 3.

The procession will start from Kudroli temple and it will move along Mannagudda Circle, Narayana Guru Circle, Ballalbagh, P.V.S. Junction, Navabharath Circle, City Cente Mall, Hampankatta, K.B. Katte, Saffron Hotel, Car Street, Balaji Junction, New Chitra Junction, and Alake Bridge. It will culminate at the temple.

In press release, the city police asked motorists to use alternate roads and avoid plying on the route of the procession. Motorists should not park their vehicles along the procession route, the police said.


Those coming to watch the procession can park their vehicles at Alake Market, Urwa Market, Canara Schools in Urwa and Dongarkeri, Pompai Church, Durga Mahal Hotel, Kudroli Narayana Guru College, BEM School, Government PU College for Girls Car Street, and hotel Vimalesh, the police said.
