Trade unions take out procession on May Day

Mangaluru, May 01, 2023: Trade Unions took out a procession in the city on May 1, Monday on the occasion of May Day under the aegis of the CPI (M). The procession was taken out from near the Service Bus Stand  upto Don Bosco Hall where a public meeting was held.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Various trade union leaders who addressed the meeting, said May Day is not just a celebration, but a day for renewed commitment to fight for the causes of the working class.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Kumar Bajal strongly opposed the government policy of increasing the working hours to 12.

CPI(M) leaders Balakrishna Shetty, Krishnappa Konchady, Yogish, Vasanth Achari and others were present.
