Title deeds distributed to Vajpayee Nagara Niveshana scheme beneficiaries

Mangalore, Feb 10, 2013: Title deeds were distributed to as many as 85  beneficiaries in Mangalore North constituency limits,  under the Vajpayee Nagara Niveshana Scheme at the MCC office on February 9, Saturday.

Krishna Palemar, MLA of the constituency who distributed the title deeds urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the facility provided by the government. He at the same time warned of criminal proceedings against those who sold or transferred the  site sanctioned to them.

 

N Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, said  the MCCC has released Rs 13.5 crores for development of interior roads. He said under the Vajpayee Nagara Niveshana Scheme a total of 830 beneficiaries have been identified in Mangalore South constituency and that title deeds would be distributed  at the earliest.

MLC Monappa Bhandari, Mayor Gulzar Banu Deputy Mayor Amitha Kala, Deputy Commissioner N Pakash, MCC Commissioner Harish Kumar, Joint Commissioner Srikanth Rao and others were present on the occasion.
