Timing row: Bus driver parks bus mid-road

Padubidri, April 05, 2024: A bus driver parked the bus mid-road on the Highway and then rested at a nearby bus shelter following a dispute over timings at Padubidri on Thursday afternoon.

 

 

The dispute arose between time-keeper Sharath and the driver Azeez of a private bus operating on the Udupi-Mangaluru route. When the time keeper stopped the bus, the driver was agitated and he stopped the bus on the middle of the road and then headed straight towards the nearby bus shelter.

A complaint and counter-complaint has been lodged at Padubidri police station.
