Three killed in KSRTC bus–car head-on collision at Shiradi Ghat

Belthangady, Mar 13, 2026: Three people died in a tragic accident between a car and a KSRTC bus in the Shiradi Ghat on Friday.

According to reports, the deceased have been identified as Chandrashekar, a businessman from Kokkada, along with Sridhar from Kakkinje and Janardhan. They sustained severe injuries in the crash and later succumbed.

Two other passengers in the car were injured and have been admitted to a hospital for treatment. The accident occurred when the car and the bus collided head-on. The impact was so severe that the car was completely crushed.
